Green, Greener, Ireland - 2

Alright, after a week of walking and looking at the "wrong sided" traffic - we were ready. Ready to take the car and travel through the country side. We traveled many one lane streets, crossed tiny stone bridges and many and more roundabouts. It was fantastic! We experienced a quietness I certainly have never felt before. But I will let the pictures speak for themselves. First stop was Galway from where we drove up to Connemara.

When we started off to hike onto Diamond Hill the ranger told us, that we are lucky because today we could actually see the top. Yeah, well the luck did not last long. Nevertheless it was fun to hike through the clouds and this way we at least got to use the rain jackets.
