Winter Desert Wonderland - Lake Mead and Valley of FIre

It's been another amazing trip into the natural wonders of North America. During 7 days we visited Lake Mead, the Valley of Fire, Bryce Canyon, Zion NP, Pipe Spring NM, the Grand Staircase/Escalante NM and, last but not least, the Hoover Dam.

We flew to Las Vegas early in the morning, rented a car and drove directly to the Lake Mead Recreational Area. We took Lakeshore Rd and later Route 167 in direction to the Valley of Fire.  We stopped here and there along the route until we reached Mesquite for the night.
